We were recently informed by our schools catering provider that the cost for provision of their service has increased considerably this financial year, which is no different to the experience we all have at the supermarket at the moment.

As a school we have always heavily subsidised our pupil meal costs and whilst we will continue to do this we cannot cover the full increase.

Unfortunately, because of this, the cost of a school meal will increase by 10p per day to £2.40 (£12 per week). This will take effect from the 15th April 2024 and is still cheaper than meal prices in most of our other local schools.

We hope that if your child currently has school meals, they will continue to do so and if they don’t, then you will consider trying them.
