We are delighted that Windhill Primary School has once again been recognised for the commitment it shows to embedding the Thrive Approach and supporting the social and emotional development of the children and young people in its care. 

The Thrive Approach is a therapeutic program used in schools to support children and young people's social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH). It is grounded in neuroscience and attachment theory - it helps educators understand student behaviour, respond consistently, and build emotional resilience, so children are better equipped to learn.
