Attendance is a huge focus for all at Windhill Primary and we pride ourselves in the improvements we have made in recent years. All of our pupils understand the need for great attendance and how to achieve this, knowing that coming to school regularly means that they don't miss out both on quality learning and fun activities throughout school.

 

Each week we celebrate the attendance of each class, awarding a certificate and a trophy to the best class from each Key Stage. All children with 100% attendance for the week go into a draw to play for the chance to play Higher or Lower, or Beat the Teacher to win a reward for themselves and some friends.  At the end of each half term, we also reward the children who have come to school every day with further games and prizes, all followed up with the big end of year attendance celebration and prize-giving.
