If children have an aptitude for music they are given the opportunity to play an instrument – at the present time violin, cello, guitar and brass are offered. We employ Peripatetic Music Teachers to teach these instruments.

All year 5 children participate in the wider opportunities programme where they play in a band.
Children are entered for external examinations.

We also offer performances in school by musicians from a variety of disciplines and take part in musical performances outside of school.
